Manufacturer warranties are administered directly by the shingle manufacturer (GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed, etc.) and cover material defects. Actual terms and coverage vary by product. Ask us to walk you through the specific document for your shingle before you sign.
Legacy workmanship warranty covers our installation quality — leaks, fastener failures, and install-related issues — separate from the manufacturer warranty on the shingles themselves. It's transferable on sale of the home in most cases.
FORTIFIED designation is issued by an independent IBHS-approved evaluator, not by Legacy. We install to the standard and provide the documentation; the evaluator certifies.
